About Mr. Chavez
I have served as an educator at Montague Charter Academy for the Arts & Sciences since November, 2010. Throughout this time I’ve taught grades Pre-K (SRLDP), 2nd, and 5th in the General Ed. setting. Since the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, I have been fortunate enough to experience working with all of our student population (grades TK-5th) by serving as the Science Lab teacher.
Most recently, I’ve also had the great opportunity to take on the Robotics coaching position at MCA. Thanks to this new and exciting opportunity, I get to work with some of our 4th and 5th grade students guiding them through the engineering design process as they design & build robots collaboratively, in preparation for monthly competitions and events.
In addition, I proudly state that I continue to be an active Board Member for our school’s Collaborative Board as the Upper Grade Teacher Representative since March, 2015.
