Ms. D. Walters » Welcome!


Ms. Walters has worked at Montague Charter Academy since 2008. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies.  She began her career at MCA as a Teacher's Assistant. After receiving her degree, Ms. Walters began teaching. She has had the pleasure of working with students on every grade level, including Special Education. Additionally, Ms. Walters taught classes in the MCA Library for two years. Currently, Ms. Walters is working as the English Language Arts (ELA) Intervention teacher.  Ms. Walters loves the outdoors!! Camping and fishing are some of her favorite things to do. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.  Ms. Walters is grateful to be a part of the Montague Charter family and community.
