LAPD Officers Recognition Montague Charter Academy honored the first responders who saved the pilot’s life at the January 9th Pacoima aircraft crash that occurred near Whiteman Airport. LAPD Sergeant Joseph Cavestany and LAPD Officers Robert Sherock, Damien Castro and Christopher Aboyte, received special certificates of recognition in honor of their heroism.
